AMSOIL Speedway is proud to announce that Al Uotinen will be taking part in our 3rd installment of “Meet A Driver”
Al began racing in the Street Stock class, as he says “Too many years ago to count”! A Superior resident has seen Al at the AMSOIL Speedway for all those years. One of Al’s major accomplishments was winning the Modified Track Championship at ABC Raceway in Ashland three years in a row (04-05-06). Al may have made a run for four in a row but with 07 being his daughters senior year in High School Al chose to attend her Graduation instead of race. The following year in 08 found Al winning the COMO Modified Touring Series cementing his place into one of the best Modified drivers in the area. Al is a consistent top runner at AMSOIL speedway and can always give the “Big Dogs” a run for their money when the touring series cruze through town. Al contributes his success to his wife Brenda and supporting children, along with his longtime pit crew help, some who have been with him for 30+ years.
