Superior Raceway Inks AMSOIL as Title Sponsor

(Superior, Wis.) ~ AMSOIL INC., the First in Synthetics, continues its support of dirt track racing in the Midwest as the new title sponsor of the Superior Speedway at the Head of the Lakes fairgrounds on the south end of the city.  The sponsorship agreement will offer up naming rights to the facility and the track formerly known as Superior Speedway will now, for the next three years at least, be known as AMSOIL Speedway.

“We are very excited to have AMSOIL on board with us in our new venture at Superior,” said Speedway promoter Joe Stariha. “With the great changes that we have already made at the speedway this agreement brings even more stability to the track this year and for years to come. With AMSOIL being such a great business in Superior and being so involved in the racing industry.  We look forward to having a great relationship with the entire AMSOIL crew for years to come.”

Raceceiver 1-Way Radios Mandatory

Attention Superior Speedway / Proctor Speedway Pure Stock drivers:

New for the 2011 season at both tracks, Raceceiver 1-way radios will be mandatory for you to compete at either the Superior Speedway in Superior, WI or the Proctor Speedway in Proctor, MN. Superior Speedway Race Director Chris Stepan said ‘Raceceivers help ensure the safety of our drivers and also help speed up the lineup process during cautions. All racers in all divisions should use them, as they really do help with alerting drivers of potential problems on the race track and help track officials ensure a speedy show.’

Raceceivers can be ordered by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by calling Chris at (715) 497-8916. The cost is $138.00 on all orders. If you order them before the 1st of May, your unit will be shipped to you as soon as they arrive or if you wish, we will have them waiting for you at the Superior opener on May 13th and/or the Proctor opener on May 15th. Any orders placed after May 1st will not be shipped, but will need to be picked up at the track. All orders must be pre-paid with either a credit card, cash or check.
